When watching movies about monsters, vampires and chainsaw wielding murderers is a welcome respite from the horrors of reality, you know you’re in trouble. The real-world horrors of this past Halloween weekend made the prospect of being slowly driven mad while spending the night in an isolated, haunted hotel seem like a vacation. At least there’s a possibility you might get to sleep for a change. This year overwhelmed nearly all Americans. No one cared when a video proving the existence of UFO’s was declassified, Let’s pull back the curtain and look at what’s gone on behind the scenes of 2020 and see how Trump expertly and successfully delivered a legacy for his base.

The GOP Exploited The System

Soon after Trump got into office, as far back as 2017, he started working on remaking the judiciary. Trump selected and confirmed Justice Amy Comey-Barrett as his grand finale. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell can’t wipe the smile off his face.

Mr. McConnell’s single-minded focus on installing federal judges over pursuing legislative compromise has won him appreciation from a Republican right that has at times distrusted him, but now credits him with erecting a judicial firewall against liberal policies if Democrats gain control of the government.

Trump and McConnell delivered ultra-Conservative judges exceedingly well. They selected judges who demonstrated a conservative track record and activity in ultra-conservative and libertarian groups. These judges visualize a “Great America” that differs vision of mainstream conservatives, Trump’s true base, the billionaires, backs him because he successfully appointments these judges.

Ensured That The The Interests of Their Backers are Served, At The Expense of American Lives

The GOP tolerates and embraces cruelty. The pandemic displayed it for all to see. You cannot surrender to that which you never intended to fight in the first place. Donald Trump and his henchmen chose herd immunity for the citizens of the United States without their debate or their consent, and against the pleas of their panel of scientific experts. Decried by scientists as immoral and unworkable especially for people who live in multigenerational households, this cruel, callous, cold-blooded approach was foisted on Evangelical Christians and other well meaning people as “not interfering with God’s Will.” Unfortunately, the GOP rejected science out of supporting the justification of greed rather than principle. Their supporters buy it as mainstream conservative thought, which it is not.

Ensured That Billionaires Will Be Served for Generations To Come

As Mitch McConnell reminded us, these young, conservative judges will serve for years to come. He even asked older federal judges to quit so that he could ram through their replacements. Yes, Trump expertly and successfully delivered a legacy for his base. Democrats didn’t fight for us when it would have mattered. They failed us. I don’t vote as a show of support for Democrats; I hate what Trump and the GOP have done to this country. ‘m voting for Biden because he’s not Trump. I understand why some people can’t bring themselves to vote. However, we will demand action and reform from the Democrats. The GOP revels in your disgust with the process and counts on you not to vote. You might provide them with just enough leeway to win. You need to vote, especially those of you in swing states.

To Save Lives and Our Democracy, We Need To Fight Back Immediately

Conservatives signed up for a party that holds the moral high ground. It is OK for you to chose to vote for Biden as a vote against Trump. You must stop the GOP from continuing this abomination for the next four years. I love this quote. Benjamin Franklin suggested it as our national motto to appear on the Great Seal of the United States.

Before It is Too Late

European governments locked down their citizens again . America “rounds the curve nicely”. We’re traveling to a place where lockdown is pointless. As a wealthy, developed country, we use our wealth and get whatever we want or need. But the GOP believes governments offering aid to citizens other than billionaires in search of more money are guilty of “government overreach.” Our action and unity will save lives and our future as a nation. We begin now, today, or it may be too late.
